\"\"Leh: The Bar Association, Kargil, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, suspended all judicial work on the second day as a mark of protest over the killing of four civilians in police firing during protests in Leh on September 24.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Bar has announced suspension of all judicial work for six days as a mark of protest.<\/p>\n

The association also pledged free legal assistance to victims of the violence and called upon the Ladakh administration to order a judicial probe.<\/p>\n

In a solidarity message, the association expressed its deepest condolences to the \u201cmartyrs who laid down their lives while striving for the rights of the people of Ladakh.\u201d The message, signed by the association\u2019s president, said lawyers across Kargil will refrain from all judicial duties until October 6.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bar Association, Kargil, strongly urges the authorities to ensure a free, fair, and impartial judicial inquiry into the matter so that justice is served and accountability is upheld,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n
