\"\"Srinagar: The New Delhi\u2013controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA), backed by Indian paramilitary and police forces, carried out a fresh wave of searches and raids in several districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, simultaneous raids were conducted in Islamabad, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, and Bandipora districts. Residents said the forces cordoned off entire localities, searched houses, and harassed the occupants, including women and elderly persons.<\/p>\n

Locals termed the operations part of India\u2019s wider policy to intimidate and silence dissenting voices in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n

The raids were conducted under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), which rights groups describe as a tool of collective punishment used by the Modi-led regime to stifle every form of resistance against the illegal occupation.<\/p>\n
