Parra, who was arrested in 2020 in a fabricated terror-related case and later released on bail, had recently requested the court to allow him to travel outside the occupied territory.<\/p>\n<p>The SIA counsel claimed that granting the plea would \u201cjeopardize the trial court\u2019s authority\u201d and \u201caffect the ongoing proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The agency said allowing Parra\u2019s application would not only \u201cweaken bail conditions\u201d but also set a \u201cbad precedent\u201d for other accused facing politically motivated cases.
