According to Kashmir Media Service, the residents of Darbagh Watchi in Zainapora subdivision said the old structure serves as the only link between Darbagh and several adjoining villages but has now deteriorated to a dangerous extent. The bridge, they added, is tilted and unstable, posing serious risks to commuters, particularly those using heavy vehicles.<\/p>\n

Locals expressed fear that the bridge could collapse anytime, especially during heavy rains. \u201cWe have been living with this danger for years. People face severe hardships during medical emergencies and while transporting daily essentials,\u201d said Gulzar Ahmad, a local resident.<\/p>\n

The villagers lamented that despite repeated appeals to the authorities, no concrete action has been taken to address the issue.
