He vowed that Pakistan will not be cowed by provocative rhetoric and pledged a decisive response to any aggression far beyond the enemy\u2019s expectations.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing the passing-out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul, Field Marshal Asim Munir said, \u201cI advise and firmly caution India\u2019s military leadership that there is no space for war in a nuclearised environment. Hecalled for the resolution of core issues on the basis of equality, mutual respect and international norms.<\/p>\n<p>Field Marshal Asim Munir demanded an end to state\u2011sponsored terror, repression and atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He asked how long the Kashmiri people must endure oppression and be denied the right to self\u2011determination, and reiterated that Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support for the Kashmiri people\u2019s legitimate struggle until the dispute is resolved in line with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n<p>Recalling Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, he said the nation stood \u201clike steel\u201d with the armed forces. He noted that India had leveled baseless charges against Pakistan, but said national unity and public support enabled successful defence of the country\u2019s borders. He said Pakistan secured a clear victory against a numerically superior foe during the operation and received international recognition for its performance.<\/p>\n<p>Field Marshal Munir highlighted Pakistan\u2019s multi\u2011domain capabilities during the conflict. \u201cDowning advanced [\u2026] Rafales, targeting multiple bases including S-400s, and showcasing multi-domain warfare capabilities, Pakistan has displayed its capabilities and will to defend,\u201d COAS Munir asserted.<\/p>\n<p>Paying tribute to the fallen, he expressed gratitude to martyrs and their families, calling their sacrifices the foundation of the country\u2019s freedom. He warned that adversaries seek to sow discord between the people and the armed forces, but affirmed that Pakistan\u2019s defence doctrine rests on credible deterrence and perpetual preparedness across all domains. He cautioned that, in the event of conflict, Pakistan\u2019s military and economic response would inflict consequences far exceeding the enemy\u2019s expectations and would render India\u2019s geographic-security assumptions obsolete.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing India directly, he urged the Indian military leadership to recognise that \u201cin a nuclear environment there is no room for war\u201d and called for the resolution of core issues on the basis of equality, mutual respect and international norms.<\/p>\n<p>He also condemned cross\u2011border terrorism and said Pakistan would take decisive action against any proxies \u2014 including those linked to Afghan Taliban elements \u2014 that launch attacks from or through Pakistani territory.<\/p>\n<p>On Palestine, Field Marshal Munir denounced Israeli aggression, mass displacement and mass killings of civilians, and credited Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts with helping advance recent ceasefire and humanitarian initiatives in Gaza. He reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s support for a two\u2011state solution based on pre\u20111967 borders with East Jerusalem as Palestine\u2019s capital, and urged sustained humanitarian aid and reconstruction for Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>Concluding his remarks, he reiterated Pakistan\u2019s commitment to diplomatic, economic and military progress and pledged that the armed forces \u2014 \u201cin uniform\u201d \u2014 will remain prepared to defend the nation\u2019s ideological and territorial integrity. Field Marshal Munir, referencing Surah As-Saff of the Qur&#8217;an, cited the verse, \u201cSurely Allah loves those who fight in His cause in solid ranks as if they were one concrete structure.\u201d He also invoked Quaid\u2011e\u2011Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah\u2019s 1948 exhortation to serve and sacrifice for the state to make Pakistan the most glorious and sovereign nation in the world.
