Srinagar: Posters have appeared in various areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urging people to observe October 27 as Black Day in protest against India\u2019s illegal occupation of the territory.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, it was on this day in 1947 when India invaded the Kashmir Valley and occupied the territory against the will of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n

The posters, pasted on walls, buildings, and electric poles in Srinagar and other parts of the territory, reaffirm that Kashmiris will continue their struggle until they achieve their UN-recognized right to self-determination. They describe October 27, 1947, as the darkest chapter in Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The posters stated that India is using oppressive tactics to force the Kashmiri leadership into submission but will never succeed in its nefarious designs. They appealed to people in and outside Jammu and Kashmir to stand united against the BJP-RSS regime\u2019s Hindutva agenda by observing October 27 as Black Day.<\/p>\n
The posters also denounced India\u2019s ongoing conspiracies to alter the territory\u2019s demography through brutal measures such as issuing domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris, dismissing Muslim employees from government posts, and manipulating the educational curriculum to erase the region\u2019s Islamic heritage and promote Hindutva ideology.<\/p>\n
They warned that Hindu religious symbols and statues were being installed at various locations as part of a broader cultural and political strategy to change the identity of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
