\"\"Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as many as 50 MLAs have cast their votes for the Indian Rajya Sabha elections, so far.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, 50 MLAs had voted in the Rajya Sabha elections by 10:30am, officials said.<\/p>\n

Of them, 28 from the National Conference, and one each from the PDP and Congress while 20 are from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).<\/p>\n

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was the first MLA to cast his vote.<\/p>\n

The voting commenced at 9:00am with MLAs arriving at the Legislative Assembly Complex in Srinagar to cast their votes at three polling booths set up inside the premises.<\/p>\n

Voting will continue until 4:00pm, and counting is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

While NC will comfortably win three seats, all eyes are on the outcome of the fourth seat where NC and BJP have 28 votes each.<\/p>\n

Unless there is cross voting by MLAs from political parties or independents, chances of BJP winning the seat are virtually impossible, the media reports said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
