Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, glowing tributes were paid to the late religious and political leader, Maulana Muhammad Abbas Ansari, on his third death anniversary, observed with great reverence across the Valley.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, a large commemorative gathering was held at Imambargah Gazidar in Arampora, Pattan, where prominent religious scholars, community leaders, and admirers of the late Maulana participated in remembrance of his lifelong contributions to Islamic unity, social harmony, and the political consciousness of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n
The ceremony began with recitation of the Holy Quran. The speakers highlighted Maulana Ansari\u2019s dedication to the cause of truth, justice, and unity, describing him as a visionary scholar, a moderate reformer, and a defender of the rights of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, Agha Syed Liaqat Hussain Mousavi said Maulana Abbas Ansari was not only a revered cleric but also a visionary leader whose teachings continue to guide the Kashmiri nation. \u201cHis mission was rooted in knowledge, courage, and steadfastness \u2014 aimed at ensuring the awakening, unity, and dignity of the Muslim Ummah,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
His son Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, in his concluding address, expressed gratitude to participants and said the late Maulana\u2019s intellectual guidance and moderate political stance would continue to serve as a beacon of light for generations.<\/p>\n
Earlier, a large number of people visited Baba Mazar, the final resting place of Maulana Abbas Ansari, to offer Fatiha. The event concluded with collective prayers for the departed soul and a pledge to continue his mission of unity, brotherhood, and service to humanity.<\/p>\n
