The demonstrators carried placards and banners reading \u201cWe Want Justice\u201d and \u201cRegularize Daily Wagers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The workers said that despite decades of service, they continue to work under uncertainty, deprived of job security, benefits, and fair wages. \u201cWe have been serving this administration for years, some for more than two decades, yet we are treated as temporary labourers,\u201d one of the protest leaders told reporters.<\/p>\n<p>The unions accused successive regimes of making hollow promises without implementing a concrete policy for regularisation. \u201cWe are not seeking charity; we are seeking justice. Our services are essential to keeping departments functional, yet our contribution remains ignored,\u201d another union representative said.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters also demanded the immediate enforcement of the revised Minimum Wages Act, saying that inflation and rising living costs have made it impossible for them to survive on meagre daily wages.
