A government order said the new name and station code \u201cCPSN\u201d will be used in all railway communication and signage.<\/p>\n<p>Historians said the renaming distorts India\u2019s composite culture. \u201cIt\u2019s not just a change of name but a change of narrative,\u201d said historian Abdul Qadir. \u201cThey want to erase traces of Muslim heritage that shaped this nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aurangabad, founded in the 17th century by Mughal Governor Malik Ambar, has long symbolized India\u2019s plural identity. During the Nizam era, it became a key trade and rail hub.
