Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) along with Indian paramilitary personnel have arrested two teenage boys in Srinagar for expressing pro-freedom views on social media.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CIK personnel during coordinated house raids in Khawajabagh, Maloora, and Nowgam areas of the city arrested 17-year-old Hashim Mashood Lone and 15-year-old Muhammad Hazik Ahanger. The boys were subjected to interrogation and intimidation, with Indian officials threatening them to refrain from sharing freedom-related content and videos highlighting the Kashmiris\u2019 right to self-determination.<\/p>\n

The authorities also seized their mobile phones during the operation, further curbing the already shrinking space for free expression in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
