According to Kashmir Media Service, the party confirmed that the MP from north Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla constituency was relocated to another block after the assault incident sparked serious security concerns.<\/p>\n

The party spokesperson said that Rashid, who has been lodged in Tihar jail, was attacked by some inmates during a routine interaction period.<\/p>\n

“The party was deeply disturbed by the reports and demanded an independent inquiry into the incident. This is not just about one individual, it\u2019s about custodial safety and the rights of prisoners under law,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
