Jammu: A climate of fear and intimidation has gripped Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as Indian forces carried out a surprise inspection and search operation at District Jail Rajouri in Dhangri, amid a continuing crackdown on Kashmiris under the guise of anti-terror operations.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the joint exercise was conducted by Indian Police, jail authorities, and the CID in the presence of an Executive Magistrate. Teams carried out a thorough inspection of the jail premises, which houses several individuals detained in fake cases.<\/p>\n

An area domination operation was also launched around the jail, reinforcing an atmosphere of intimidation and control over the local population.<\/p>\n

Officials noted that over the past 72 hours, Indian forces have intensified operations across the Kashmir Valley and Jammu region, targeting the homes of pro-freedom leaders and activists.<\/p>\n

Rights observers and local residents say such operations create an environment of constant fear, restricting movement and daily life, and are used to suppress dissent and resistance in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
