Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian agencies have launched a fresh campaign of arrests and interrogations targeting Kashmiri doctors and educated professionals under the pretext of probing what they call a \u201cwhite-collar terror\u201d module, following the recent blast near Delhi\u2019s Red Fort.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, investigative teams from India\u2019s Central agencies and the Delhi Police have reached Srinagar and other parts of the Valley to detain and question medical professionals allegedly linked to two Kashmiri doctors\u2014Dr. Umer-un-Nabi and Dr. Muzamil Ahmad Ganai\u2014who are being falsely accused of involvement in the Delhi blast case.<\/p>\n
The detentions come after Indian police claimed to have arrested eight persons, including three doctors, in a so-called terror module case. Hours later, a car explosion occurred near the Red Fort, which the Indian media hastily linked to Dr. Umer-un-Nabi. Without any credible evidence, Indian agencies began rounding up Kashmiri professionals, subjecting them to harassment and media trials to fit the narrative of \u201cradicalised intellectuals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Observers in Srinagar said the ongoing crackdown is a deliberate attempt by the Modi-led regime to vilify Kashmiri educated youth and discredit the Valley\u2019s professional class through concocted charges and staged cases. The aim, they said, is to silence a generation of educated Kashmiris who symbolize resilience, intellect, and aspiration under occupation.<\/p>\n
Following the blast, Indian forces carried out a spate of house raids and interrogations across the Valley, particularly targeting doctors, engineers, and university faculty members. This orchestrated campaign, analysts noted, is designed to spread fear among Kashmiri professionals and reinforce the false impression of a \u201cradical network\u201d in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
