Islamabad: A prayer meeting was organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter to pay tributes to the prominent leader of the Kashmir freedom movement and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation Muhammad Hanif Kalas on his death anniversary.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the meeting was presided over by APHC-AJK Conveyor Ghulam Muhammad Safi and was attended by Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and representatives of Kashmiri refugees.<\/p>\n

The speakers on the occasion paid glowing tributes to Hanif Kalas for his services to the Kashmir freedom movement. They said that Hanif Kalas had dedicated his life to the Kashmir freedom movement and had to endure the hardships of imprisonment for 14 years due to his association with the freedom-loving people.<\/p>\n
They said the authorities deprived him of his government job and his brother Zulfiqar was also martyred by the Indian army.<\/p>\n
The speakers said Hanif Kalas established the Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation in 2015 and remained associated with it till his last breath.<\/p>\n
The participants of the meeting paid rich tribute to all the Kashmiri martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Kashmir freedom movement and prayed for their elevation.<\/p>\n
They on the occasion reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission till it reaches its logical conclusion and in this regard will render any kind of sacrifice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
