Srinagar: Political analysts and experts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have expressed deep concern over the ongoing cordon and search operations, house raids, arbitrary arrests, and property seizures carried out under the orders of the New Delhi-imposed administration led by the Lieutenant Governor.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, analysts and experts, in their statements and interviews from Srinagar, said the BJP-led Indian government is fast-tracking its colonial agenda in IIOJK by forcibly taking over Kashmiri homes, lands, and other properties to alter the territory\u2019s demographic composition. They noted that unrestrained Indian forces and personnel from notorious agencies routinely harass residents, including women, children, and the elderly, during these so-called operations.<\/p>\n
The analysts highlighted that Amit Shah, India\u2019s Home Minister, has a son who has acquired a large parcel of land in Pahalgam for the construction of a hotel. They added that non-Kashmiri Indian Hindus are also buying land from local nomadic community in Pehalgam\u2019s Betaab Valley, while the LG-led administration is barring local Kashmiris from purchasing property in the same area. Experts described this land grab by non-local settlers as part of a deliberate plan to make Kashmiris alien in their own homeland.<\/p>\n
They warned that the BJP-led government and its military establishment should remember that such tactics cannot suppress the Kashmiri people\u2019s spirit of freedom.<\/p>\n
Experts further cautioned that India\u2019s aggressive and unrealistic policies have jeopardized regional peace and urged the United Nations to take immediate notice of these colonial measures and exert pressure to ensure a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
