Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed grave concern over the escalating state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the systematic atrocities faced by Kashmiris across India and in the territory, asserting that over 78 years of brutalities have failed to weaken their resolve for freedom.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the BJP-led government and its agencies cannot intimidate Kashmiris into submission. He highlighted that Kashmiri students, professionals, and businesspeople in India are being targeted, harassed, and evicted from their residences in states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi following the Red Fort blast in New Delhi.<\/p>\n
Minhas condemned the ongoing cordon-and-search operations, mass arrests of over two thousand youth, and house raids, describing them as part of India\u2019s systematic attempt to terrorize, weaken, and economically suffocate Kashmiris. \u201cThe caged and oppressed people of Kashmir continue to live under relentless Indian state terrorism since 1947,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The APHC spokesman accused Narendra Modi\u2019s Hindutva-led military establishment of pursuing a \u201cslow-motion genocide\u201d through draconian laws, with forces shielded to commit daily killings, torture, and arbitrary arrests. He denounced DGP Nalin Prabhat, stating that under his command, mass arrests, property seizures, and targeting of youth have intensified, continuing the RSS-inspired agenda of demographic change in occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n
Paying tribute to Bilal Ahmad Wani, a dry fruit seller who died after self-inflicted burn injuries following police humiliation, Minhas said his sacrifice exemplifies the human cost of Indian policies, adding that such sacrifices will not be in vain and Kashmiris will eventually achieve freedom.<\/p>\n
The spokesman called on the United Nations to intervene and take concrete measures to halt Indian state terrorism in IIOJK and to play its role in resolving the long-standing Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
