\"\"Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has repeated his claim that he had prevented a war between India and Pakistan, during a bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Trump on Tuesday told reporters in the Oval Office, \u201cI stopped one that was almost ready to start again\u2026 they\u2019re doing very well. It all took place right here in the Oval Office, whether by telephone or in person, and leaders signed their peace deals here.\u201d He added that this was one among eight conflicts he had helped resolve.<\/p>\n

Since May 10, Trump has repeatedly stated that India and Pakistan agreed to a \u201cfull and immediate ceasefire\u201d following talks mediated by Washington.<\/p>\n

Pakistan has praised the US president for his role, asserting that his intervention prevented escalation. India, however, has consistently denied any third-party involvement.<\/p>\n
