Nothing can taint the relationship between the people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan,” he reaffirmed.

He said the PPP’s bond with the Kashmiri people spans three generations, adding that no external force can drive a wedge between them. Bilawal recalled an incident involving Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, noting that she once waited outside the Saudi King’s door with a file in her hand. “When the King asked why she was waiting, she replied that she was there for her brothers in Kashmir,” he said.

Bilawal also spoke about Pakistan’s diplomatic strides, saying that India suffered a “historic and crushing” setback in May, while Pakistan’s international standing continues to rise. He added that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is “hiding from the world” at forums such as the United Nations and ASEAN, knowing he will be reminded of the 7–0 defeat. “As the former foreign minister, I can assert that Pakistan’s international profile is going up,” he reiterated.

Highlighting his commitment to the Kashmiri cause at the international level, Bilawal said he wished to see the people of Kashmir gain representation within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Bilawal maintained that India’s attempts to distort the Kashmir dispute or undermine the Kashmiri people’s just struggle will never succeed, as the bond between Pakistan and Kashmir is built on history, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to the right to self-determination.

Islamabad/Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the Modi-led Indian government’s conspiracy to create divisions and weaken the Kashmir cause is bound to fail, stressing that nothing can damage the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan.
