According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces’ personnel conducted extensive searches of hardware stores, chemical shops, fertilizer outlets, and car dealerships in Nowhatta, Lal Bazaar, Shaheed Ganj, Chanapora, Rajbagh, Raj Mohammad Bagh (RM Bagh), Saddar, Qamarwari, Zadibal, Hazratbal, Soura, Harwan, Karan Nagar in Srinagar, as well as other towns and areas of the territory.<\/p>\n

To justify the harassment and widespread search operations, the Indian forces are claiming that the checks are meant to ensure that hardware items or agricultural chemicals are not misused for unlawful activities.<\/p>\n

During the operations, the forces examined stock, records, sale registers, licences, and sales procedures, including identity verification for bulk purchasers.<\/p>\n
