Eyewitnesses said the terrified boys were threatened, surrounded and compelled to obey as the mob shouted \u201cJai Shri Ram\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Local Muslims said the incident reflects a growing pattern of harassment in BJP-ruled states, where Hindutva groups act with impunity and police fail to protect minorities. Parents of the victimised students criticised the college administration for succumbing to mob pressure and preparing punitive action against the same boys who were humiliated.
