Other key stations reported sharp dips as well: Budgam (\u20134.6\u00b0C), Bandipora (\u20134.5\u00b0C), Shopian (\u20136.5\u00b0C), Kulgam (\u20132.4\u00b0C), Ganderbal (\u20133.3\u00b0C), Sonamarg (\u20134.0\u00b0C), Zethan Rafiabad (\u20135.2\u00b0C), Pahalgam (\u20135.0\u00b0C), Gulmarg (\u20131.0\u00b0C), Kokernag (\u20131.6\u00b0C), Qazigund (\u20134.0\u00b0C), Kupwara (\u20134.4\u00b0C), and Srinagar Airport (\u20135.2\u00b0C).<\/p>\n<p>The Zojila Pass plunged to 16.0\u00b0C, one of the lowest readings of the season.<\/p>\n<p>In the Jammu region, higher-altitude towns experienced a sharp chill while the plains stayed above freezing. Temperatures stood at Jammu 8.7\u00b0C, Banihal \u20131.5\u00b0C, Batote 4.0\u00b0C, Katra 8.5\u00b0C, Bhaderwah 0.4\u00b0C, Kathua 8.2\u00b0C, Jammu Airport 10.1\u00b0C, Udhampur 4.6\u00b0C, Ramban 4.1\u00b0C, Samba 6.9\u00b0C, Rajouri 2.0\u00b0C, Kishtwar 3.4\u00b0C and Reasi 6.9\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Ladakh remained in deep freeze with Leh at \u20138.6\u00b0C, Kargil \u20139.5\u00b0C, and Nubra \u20137.7\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>The Met has forecast mainly dry weather until December 2, though night temperatures are expected to fall further.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar: Indian illegally occupied Kashmir (IIOJK) is in the grip of a severe cold wave as all weather stations across the Valley recorded sub-zero night temperatures, the Meteorological Department (MeT) said.
