Srinagar: Political experts and analysts have said that the BJP-led Indian government is committing the worst kind of state terrorism and gross human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the political experts and analysts, talking to media men in Srinagar, said that after 5 August 2019, the BJP government has intensified repression, atrocities, authoritarian measures in the territory, pushing the Kashmiris completely to the wall.<\/p>\n
They denounced the unabated house raids and arrests of youth under black laws such as Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA), noting that highly educated Kashmiri youth, including doctors, are being targeted, humiliated and tortured for simply demanding the right to self-determination, which is acknowledged by the United Nations.<\/p>\n
The analysts said that India\u2019s brutal tactics to suppress the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people have reached new heights since 5 August 2019. They added that the arrest of students under draconian laws is indicative of Modi regime\u2019s deep-rooted hostility and ruthless mindset toward Kashmiri youth. They asserted that Kashmiris\u2019 freedom struggle cannot be subdued by putting innocent people behind bars on frivolous charges.<\/p>\n
The experts urged the United Nations and international human rights organizations to hold India accountable for its crimes, secure release of all illegally detained Kashmiris and take concrete measures to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
