He added that VOJIK aims to amplify oppressed voices, influence policymakers, and unite global Kashmiri and South Asian communities for coordinated advocacy and humanitarian outreach.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Waris Ali Khan, Chairman of VOJIK\u2019s International Advisory Board and Emcee of the event, said the mission of the organisation is to defend the fundamental political rights of Kashmiris by engaging governments, think tanks, civil society and international media.<\/p>\n<p>Sardar Zulfiqar Roshan Khan, Director Government Affairs of VOJIK, said the organisation envisions a world where Kashmiris live with dignity and justice, freely determining their future through democratic means.<\/p>\n<p>Through a video message, Sardar Zarif Khan, Director Research and Advocacy of VOJIK, stated that the group will produce evidence-based reports, policy briefs and seminars to inform global decision-makers. He said VOJIK aims to shift global perceptions \u201cfrom silence to solidarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Nadim Khokher, Director Media Relations, said VOJIK plans to run conferences, media campaigns and cultural programmes to highlight human rights abuses in IIOJK. He added that cooperation with rights groups, universities and media networks is essential for strengthening the global narrative.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, Chairman of the World Forum for Peace &amp; Justice, said standing with Kashmir is a moral obligation and a sacred trust. He urged the people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan to translate concern into \u201caction, ownership and unwavering commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former President of AJK and diplomat Ambassador Masood Khan said the people of occupied Kashmir cannot raise their voice due to Indian repression, adding that when truth becomes a crime, silence becomes survival.<\/p>\n<p>Former AJK Prime Minister and President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan said the conference ignited a flame of unity and responsibility, emphasising that it \u201cmust not end with applause \u2014 it must begin with action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami AJK &amp; GB, said the diverse audience was proof that the Kashmir cause unites all people despite political or ideological differences.<\/p>\n<p>Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC\u2013AJK), said that if the oppressed in occupied territory are silenced, then the people of Azad Kashmir must become their echo and their storytellers.<\/p>\n<p>Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Chairman Mercy Universal, vowed that silence over Kashmir\u2019s suffering must never be normalised.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Rasheed Turabi, former Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami AJK &amp; GB, urged participants to take the message back to their institutions and communities, stressing that \u201cevery effort counts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Professor Sami Al-Arian, leading scholar of International Relations from Turkey, said unity must be stronger than the chains of occupation and that privileged voices must defend hope.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent Turkish journalist Mehmet Ozturk said history favours those who refuse to give up, adding that the struggle will continue until \u201cthe sky of Kashmir is lit with freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Others who addressed the gathering included Sardar Shoaib Irshad, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Dr Waleed Rasool, Zafar Qureishi, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, Sardar Abid Razzaq, Haider Malik Sialvi, Imran Aziz, Dr Bedar, and Albanian speakers Sheikh Usama and another representative from Albania.
