Islamabad: Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, has warmly congratulated Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on his appointment as Chief of Defence Forces.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Islamabad, Faiz Naqshbandi expressed confidence that under Field Marshal Asim Munir\u2019s leadership, Pakistan\u2019s armed forces will gain enhanced honor, stability, and renewed strength. He praised Asim Munir\u2019s distinguished service, integrity, unwavering commitment to national sovereignty, and steadfast dedication to defending the country.<\/p>\n

He said that Syed Asim Munir\u2019s appointment reflects the Prime Minister and President\u2019s recognition of his exceptional leadership. Highlighting Asim Munir\u2019s bold decisions during the May confrontation with India, Naqshbandi noted that they not only bolstered Pakistan\u2019s international stature but also inspired Kashmiris engaged in the struggle against Indian occupation.<\/p>\n
