Saharanpur (UP): Four Indian Army soldiers were injured after an explosion occurred at the reserved Badkala firing range in UP, police said on Sunday.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain told the media that the incident took place on Saturday evening when routine firing exercises were underway.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuddenly an explosion occurred, injuring four Army personnel,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Police teams from Mirzapur and Behat rushed to the spot and shifted the injured soldiers to the nearby hospital. Jain said two of the injured were later referred to the district hospital due to the seriousness of their condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn inquiry is being conducted to ascertain the cause of the explosion and to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
