<\/figure>\n\n\n\nPledges to thwart Indian-sponsored proxies\u2019 hostile designs in Balochistan
Islamabad: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has warned that any violation of Pakistan\u2019s integrity will be met with a \u201cfirm and decisive\u201d response.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CDF made these remarks during the 18th National Workshop on Balochistan at General Headquarters (GHQ), a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Highlighting the security challenges facing the province, Field Marshal Munir said Indian-sponsored proxies continue to spread violence and attempt to disrupt development in Balochistan. He reaffirmed that such \u201cinimical designs will be thwarted\u201d through firm and decisive action by the security forces to rid the province of terrorism and unrest, the statement said.
\u201cReaffirming Pakistan\u2019s commitment to regional peace and stability, he emphasised that any violation of Pakistan\u2019s territorial integrity, whether direct or indirect, will be met with a firm and decisive response\u201d. He affirmed that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain fully committed to safeguarding the lives, well-being and aspirations of the people, ISPR said.
In his address, Field Marshal Munir appreciated the resilience of the people of Balochistan and highlighted their pivotal importance for Pakistan\u2019s prosperity and development. The CDF also hailed the role of civil society in his address, highlighting their role in countering disinformation and propaganda, as well as their driving sustainable development.
