New Delhi: A gang, manufacturing fake degrees, has been arrested in the Indian state of Kerala and one lakh degrees have been recovered from their possession.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian media outlets say that the Kerala state police have arrested 11 accused in the fake degree case.<\/p>\n

The accused told the police that the fake degrees were in medicine, nursing, engineering and other professional fields and jobs were also obtained on the basis of these degrees.<\/p>\n

According to the police, the accused also confessed that they used to sell fake degrees for Rs 75,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh.<\/p>\n

The police say the network that produced fake degrees was active not only in Kerala but also in other states of the country.<\/p>\n
