Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has appealed to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to resolve the Kashmir dispute by granting Kashmiris their right to self-determination, as per UN resolutions.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a memorandum submitted to the UN office in Islamabad on the occasion of Right to Self-Determination Day,today, APHC-AJK reminded the UN chief of promises made to Kashmiris. The delegation, led by Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Mir Tahir Masood, Hassan Al-Bana, Syed Ajaz Rehmani, and Imtiaz Wani, stated that Kashmiris’ sacrifices for self-determination have been ongoing for over seven decades.<\/p>\n

The memorandum criticized the UN and world powers’ silence, saying it emboldens India to continue state terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
