According to Kashmir Media Service, historic springs like Aripal, Nagbal, and Bulbul Nag in Pulwama have dried up, crippling water supply schemes and leaving thousands without access to drinking water.<\/p>\n

\u201cYears of neglect and mismanagement have made us vulnerable to climate change,\u201d said Ghulam Nabi, a social activist. Locals accuse authorities of prioritizing projects over people, forcing them to rely on irregular tanker services. \u201cThe government\u2019s response is too little, too late,\u201d said Nusrat Jan, a resident.<\/p>\n

The situation is dire along River Jhelum and Rambiara rivulet, with dozens of water supply schemes affected. Experts warn of a looming catastrophe if authorities don\u2019t act swiftly. Instead of addressing the crisis, officials are shifting blame to climate change.<\/p>\n
