According to Kashmir Media Service, the Modi government is promoting extremism under the Hindutva ideology in a deliberate and organized manner, a report by the Indian web portal The Wire has revealed. The violence against Muslims and other minorities in India is not random but part of a larger political and ideological agenda. As per The Wire, Hindu extremist elements openly target impoverished Muslims with violence in the name of religion, while state institutions often remain silent, failing to intervene. Many leaders and activists affiliated with the BJP have been at the forefront of labeling Muslims as traitors or making hate-filled remarks.<\/p>\n

The Wire report also notes that the Modi government is using Hindutva-based politics as a diversion from its corruption and other serious misdeeds.
