New Delhi: Poland\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rados\u0142aw Sikorski has effectively snubbed India by firmly asserting that international borders cannot be determined by \u201ctanks or terrorists,\u201d underscoring the primacy of international law and diplomacy during his visit to New Delhi.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, Sikorski made the remarks while meeting Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. He said the international community must uniformly reject any attempt to alter borders through violence, whether by military force or non-state actors, a statement seen by observers as a veiled rejection of selective interpretations of international law.<\/p>\n
The Polish foreign minister stressed that violations of sovereignty cannot be condoned under any pretext and must be confronted through collective global action, a stance that contrasted with India\u2019s cautious position on the Ukraine conflict.<\/p>\n
