President Trump\u2019s question to Shehbaz Sharif"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-193240\" src=\"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/assests\/2026\/01\/26-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"335\" height=\"186\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that during a recent meeting in Davos, US President Donald Trump asked him, &#8220;How is my favourite field marshal&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>According to Kashmir Media Service, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that in response, he pointed to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who was sitting in the front row of the guests.<\/p>\n<p>During the signing ceremony of the Peace Board agreement by the members, TV channels around the world showed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Donald Trump pointing to the field marshal.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Ministers also shared details of their brief meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos and said that he appreciated President Trump for his initiative to establish a Peace Board for Gaza, which he described as an important step towards restoring peace in the war-torn region.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Prime Minister, he told President Trump that if he succeeds in ensuring peace, dignity and fundamental rights for the Palestinian people and the reconstruction of Gaza is successful, history will remember this initiative as his great legacy.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Prime Minister also paid tribute to President Trump\u2019s effective role in ending the tension between Pakistan and India and expressed his gratitude.
