\"\"Srinagar, January 29 (KMS): Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah has expressed concern over the increasing attacks by Hindu extremists on Kashmiris in Indian states.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah in a post on X said the Kashmir government would take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of residents travelling or living in Indian states, particularly in view of recent incidents reported from different parts of India. \u201cMy government will step in wherever required and do whatever is necessary to ensure such incidents are not repeated,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister also urged the Indian Home Ministry to take proactive steps and sensitise state governments to prevent targeted attacks and harassment of people from Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

His remarks follow recent incidents, including an attack on an 18-year-old Kashmiri boy in the Vikas Nagar area of Uttarakhand, where the victim sustained serious injuries on Tuesday evening, raising renewed concerns over the safety of migrant traders and students from the territory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
