Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti has lamented the backwardness of Chenab Valley, demanding divisional status and improved connectivity to unlock the region’s potential.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a gathering in Doda, Mehbooba Mufti stressed the need for a High Court division bench, rail connectivity, and tunnels for all-weather access.<\/p>\n

She highlighted the region’s tourism potential and called for sustainable development through the Doda Development Authority.<\/p>\n

Mufti demanded a Cluster University, upgraded education and health facilities, a women’s degree college, and skill-based institutions.
