Washington: A 22-year-old Indian postgraduate student, Saketh Sreenivasaiah, has been found dead in the US, days after going missing.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, Saketh, a student at the University of California, Berkeley, was last seen on February 9 and his body was recovered on Saturday, confirmed the Indian Consulate in San Francisco.<\/p>\n
The Consulate expressed deep regret over the incident and offered condolences to Saketh’s family.<\/p>\n
Saketh, from Karnataka, was pursuing a Master of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley. His backpack, containing his passport and laptop, was found on a doorstep in the Park Hills neighborhood, sparking a search operation.<\/p>\n
