Srinagar : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the mysterious escape of three inmates \u2014 including two alleged Pakistan nationals \u2014 from a juvenile home in the R S Pura area of Jammu has raised serious questions, with observers terming the episode a \u201cdeep conspiracy\u201d aimed at maligning the Kashmiri freedom movement and Pakistan.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, six police personnel, including an assistant sub-inspector, were suspended for alleged dereliction of duty after Karajeet Singh alias Gugga and two Pakistan nationals, identified as Mohammad Suna-ullah and Ahsan Anwar, reportedly escaped from the juvenile facility on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
Two policemen were said to have been injured during the incident.<\/p>\n
Officials claimed that the inmates attacked police personnel and fled, prompting the registration of an FIR under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.<\/p>\n
Political analysts and rights observers in IIOJK have expressed skepticism over the official version. They noted that people from Azad Jammu and Kashmir sometimes mistakenly cross the Line of Control and are subsequently arrested and branded as \u201cinfiltrators\u201d by Indian forces. This case, they fear, may be another such instance being manipulated under a staged escape narrative.<\/p>\n
Observers said the so-called \u201cescape drama\u201d could be designed either to eliminate the detainees in a staged encounter or to project them as cross-border infiltrators in order to defame Pakistan and discredit the indigenous freedom struggle. They questioned how inmates in a high-security juvenile facility could allegedly procure a weapon and flee without internal collusion or prior planning.<\/p>\n
They further warned that branding such individuals as gang-linked or foreign-backed militants serves a propaganda objective of portraying the Kashmiri resistance movement as criminal or externally sponsored.<\/p>\n
