Jammu: The Modi-led Indian regime continues to manipulate narratives and distort facts to punish Kashmiris, as evidenced by the latest attempt to target Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chief Muhammad Yasin Malik.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a fresh development, another eyewitness has emerged, identifying Malik and Mohammad Rafiq Pahloo as alleged shooters in the 1990 attack on Indian Air Force personnel in Srinagar.<\/p>\n
The witness testified before a TADA court in Jammu, linking Malik and Pahloo to the January 25, 1990, attack that killed four IAF personnel and injured 40 others. This follows an earlier testimony that identified Malik’s associate Shoukat Bakshi as a shooter in the same case on January 31.<\/p>\n
Legal experts have raised serious concerns over the credibility of these testimonies, pointing to fabrication, witness manipulation, and procedural irregularities. They warned that the entire episode appears orchestrated to secure Malik\u2019s execution, allowing the Modi regime to regain lost political popularity and suppress voices advocating Kashmir\u2019s right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
The experts say the trial is part of a larger conspiracy hatched by Indian authorities to criminalize Kashmiri leaders and intimidate the population through fabricated cases and distorted narratives.
