New Delhi: The Modi-led Indian regime is once again orchestrating manufactured terror narratives to malign Pakistan and deflect attention from its own acts of state-backed terrorism abroad, analysts say.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, this comes as eight people were arrested in Delhi and Tamil Nadu in a purported \u201cterror conspiracy\u201d allegedly linked to Pakistan and Bangladesh-based groups.<\/p>\n
The arrests are reportedly connected to an alleged plan to avenge the February 6 blast at a mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan. Police claimed to have recovered dozens of mobile phones and SIM cards during searches, which are being analysed to \u201cconfirm\u201d foreign links.<\/p>\n
Intelligence agencies warned of a possible IED attack near Red Fort, citing supposed plans by Lashkar-e-Taiba.<\/p>\n
Observers, however, note that this latest episode follows a familiar pattern: India inflates or fabricates \u201cterror threats\u201d inside its own borders to project itself as a victim internationally, even as it engages in aggressive operations abroad. The arrests come in the aftermath of Indian national Nikhil Gupta\u2019s guilty plea for his role in terror-related activities overseas, highlighting the regime\u2019s need to \u201cbalance\u201d its image and demonize Pakistan to cover its culpability.<\/p>\n
Analysts stress that New Delhi\u2019s repeated use of fabricated terror plots serves two purposes: to stoke anti-Pakistan hysteria internationally, and to suppress and intimidate minority communities at home, particularly Muslims, under the guise of national security.
