Srinagar: The New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA), under the TADA\/POTA Court, has secured non-bailable warrants against two Kashmiri Hurriyat activists in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the court of the Additional Sessions Judge (TADA\/POTA) and Special Judge designated under the NIA Act in Srinagar, Manjeet Rai, has ordered the issuance of non-bailable warrants against two absconding activists in an SIA case linked to alleged anti-India and pro-freedom activities.<\/p>\n

The non-bailable warrants have been issued against Imtiyaz Ahmad Kandoo and Manzoor Ahmad Khan, residents of Sopore, for their involvement in pro-freedom activities in the territory. The court noted that the main charge-sheet was filed on December 3, 2022, after which the two allegedly went missing and reportedly joined Hizbul Mujahideen.<\/p>\n

Observers said the Indian government is using agencies such as the NIA and SIA under black laws to target Kashmiri youth who voice their demand for a plebiscite in accordance with United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n
