Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has strongly condemned the naked aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran, calling it extremely dangerous for the peace and stability of the region.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK chapter Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi in a statement issued in Islamabad paid a magnificent tribute to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was martyred in the cowardly attacks of the United States and Israel, and said that his demise is a great tragedy for the Islamic world.<\/p>\n
He said that Ayatollah Khamenei was not only the spiritual and political leader of Iran, but he was a strong, clear and unwavering voice in favour of the oppressed nations, especially the Palestinian people, at the global level. His leadership sent the Muslim Ummah a message of unity, sovereignty, and resistance against colonial oppression, he added.<\/p>\n
Ghulam Mohammad Safi said that Ayatollah Khamenei’s position on the Palestinian issue was always principled and steadfast and declared the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people a shared responsibility of the entire Islamic world.<\/p>\n
He said Khamenei’s political insight and intellectual guidance strengthened the resistance consciousness not only in Iran but also in the Islamic world.<\/p>\n
Ghulam Mohammad Safi said that Ayatollah Khamenei’s intellectual legacy, his unwavering support for oppressed nations, and his message of unity of the Muslim Ummah will always be alive. His martyrdom will not weaken his ideas, but his thoughts will continue to resonate with greater strength and breadth around the world, he maintained.<\/p>\n
He called upon the international community, especially the United Nations, to play an effective role in stopping aggression.<\/p>\n
He said the All Parties Hurriyat Conference shares the great grief of the Iranian people and expresses complete solidarity with the Iranian people.<\/p>\n
The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front has also condemned the joint US-Israeli military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling it a violation of international laws.<\/p>\n
The JKLF spokesperson, Mohammad Rafiq Dar, in a statement termed the unilateral attack against a free and sovereign country like Iran as blatant aggression and said that innocent Iranian citizens, including men, women and children, are being killed in this attack and large-scale property is being destroyed.<\/p>\n
He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and his family in the US and Israeli airstrike.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the JKLF has strongly condemned the Indian government\u2019s move to issue arrest warrants for its leaders and Kashmiri diaspora. These leaders include Raja Muzaffar Khan, currently residing in the US, JKLF Central Chairman Muhammad Rafiq Dar and Vice Chairman Saleem Haroon, as well as prominent Kashmiri leaders Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai and Irshad Malik, residing in US and UK respectively.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson said the issuance of arrest warrants against freedom-loving Kashmiri political leaders by the current Indian government led by Prime Minister Modi is part of their aggressive policy, which aims to suppress and silence the demand for freedom of the people of Jammu and Kashmir by force.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
