The incident has sparked outrage in the volatile state of Manipur.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kashmir Media Service, the woman and her friend were taking pictures when around 6-7 boys started making sexual slurs. When they objected, the group became aggressive, calling them &#8220;prostitutes&#8221; and making racist remarks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They became aggressive and started physically assaulting me. One of them took out a knife and attempted to stab me, forcing me to run away,&#8221; the woman said.<\/p>\n<p>The attackers beat her with a belt, causing injuries to her head and ear. The police apprehended four juveniles, three school dropouts, and one class 7 student.
