Pune: Another Muslim youth was beat up and forced to eat cow dung by a group of Hindutva in BJP ruled Maharashtra state.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 25-second video, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the young Muslim youth being slapped and humiliated while standing near a vehicle loaded with cattle in Pune city of the state.<\/p>\n
The accused in the video has been identified as a Hindutva activist Bipasha Manikam, a transgender person, who was accompanied by several associates.<\/p>\n
The Muslim youth is attacked, beaten, verbally abused and forced to eat cow by a Hindutva group.<\/p>\n
In the footage, the group can be seen surrounding the victim and verbally abusing him. At one point, Bipasha Manikam is heard telling the youth, \u201cAmi eats meat with roti, and you eat dung with roti.\u201d She then appears to slap him while others stand nearby.<\/p>\n
The victim repeatedly pleads with them to stop. In the video, he can be heard asking the group to let him go, but the assault continues. The accused are also seen forcing cow dung into the youth\u2019s mouth.<\/p>\n
A social activist in Pune, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the incident was deeply troubling. \u201cForcing someone to eat cow dung and beating him in public is a cruel and degrading act. Authorities must investigate the video and ensure justice,\u201d the activist said.<\/p>\n
Another resident said the video had created fear among many people. \u201cWhen such things happen openly and are recorded on video, people feel unsafe. The law must act quickly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Earlier, two Muslim men, Wali Mohammad Shabbir and Rehan Quraishi, were assaulted and forced to eat cow dung by Bajrang Dal members in Karad area of Maharashtra state.
