Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that India\u2019s intransigence on the Kashmir dispute has endangered the peace of the entire South Asia.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, strongly denounced the IIOJK Hindutva Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha\u2019s order suspending three Kashmiri employees from their services on fake charges.<\/p>\n
He said that the entire Jammu and Kashmir is a UN-mandated disputed territory whose future is to be decided by the Kashmiri people through a plebiscite supervised by the world body. The APHC urged India to end its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and let the Kashmiris exercise their inalienable right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
The APHC pointed out that the August 5, 2019 illegal and unilateral actions taken by the BJP government led by Narendra Modi pose a serious threat to the demographic composition of Kashmir as well as regional peace and security.<\/p>\n
He said the Manoj Sinha-led BJP regime\u2019s Hindutva policies can neither change the historical facts nor Kashmir\u2019s disputed status. The APHC spokesman said that India was using strong-arm tactics to crush the Kashmiris\u2019 legitimate struggle for securing their right to self-determination but would never succeed in its nefarious designs. He maintained that the Indian BJP government must remember that permanent peace in South Asia is linked to a just settlement of the Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n
The spokesman urged the international community to put pressure on India to settle the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris\u2019 aspirations and the relevant UN resolutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
