Lucknow: Indian National Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the latter has surrendered before the US.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing party workers at an event in Lucknow, UP, Gandhi said, \u201cNarendra Modi is finished psychologically. He is no longer working as India\u2019s PM. He is working for the US.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2019Narendra Modi has compromised with the energy security of the country. America is deciding who we should buy oil from, the situation in the energy sector will deteriorate further,\u2019\u2019 the Congress leader said. He also said that the trade deal with the US was not in the interest of India.<\/p>\n
He said that he wanted to raise this issue in the Parliament but he was not allowed to speak.<\/p>\n
Rahul Gandhi said that Modi did not believe in the Constitution. \u2018\u2019Our Constitution contains our country\u2019s thousands of years old ideology, it does not have Godse\u2019s ideology\u2026Gandhi, Ambedkar too faced difficulties but they were never compromised … .Modi is compromised\u2026he is under US pressure,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
Rahul also said that the Modi government was ignoring the interests of the Dalits and the OBCs and weaker sections of the society.<\/p>\n
He also shared video footage of the event on the social media platform X, highlighting the treatment he received in Parliament. In his post, he wrote: \u201cWhen I raised the issue that the Modi government has compromised India\u2019s energy security in Parliament, the microphone was switched off. As soon as I mentioned Modi Ji\u2019s name in connection with the Epstein files, my microphone was cut off again.\u201d<\/p>\n
