Srinagar: Engineer Rashid, Indian parliament member from Baramulla in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), strongly criticized the continued closure of the Jamia Masjid Srinagar and restrictions on congregational prayers.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incarcerated MP Engineer Rashid raised the issue while speaking in the Indian parliament, highlighting a range of concerns related to IIOJK.<\/p>\n
Referring to recent religious occasions, Rashid extended greetings to people of Kashmir, noting that he was addressing the House while in custody.<\/p>\n
He also questioned what he termed shifting narratives, citing the release of Ladakhi climate activist Sonam Wangchuk and asking how individuals previously labelled as foreign agents were now being viewed differently.<\/p>\n
