Raipur: In yet another disturbing incident highlighting rising intolerance against minorities in Modi\u2019s India, a teenage Christian boy was assaulted by members of a Hindutva group in Champa, Chhattisgarh, and forced to chant the Hindu slogan \u2018Jai Shri Ram\u2019.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, the attackers filmed the assault and circulated the video on social media, drawing widespread concern.<\/p>\n
Police intervened only after local residents staged a protest against the incident. Authorities said that two individuals have been arrested, and further investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
This incident comes amid a growing pattern of violence and intimidation targeting the Christian community in Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n
In a similar incident in Narayanpur in January, two Christian families were beaten and forced to leave their homes over allegations of religious conversion.<\/p>\n
Last May, a Christian family running a school in Kawardha was attacked by a Hindutva mob during a Sunday service and forced into hiding.<\/p>\n
Likewise, in Dantewada, at least 14 Christians were attacked with wooden rods after refusing to renounce their faith.<\/p>\n
