Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti has extended Eid greetings to the people and urged special prayers for the Muslim Ummah, particularly those facing hardships in Palestine, Lebanon and Iran.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, in her Eid message, Mehbooba Mufti said that while people celebrate the festival after the holy month of Ramadan, they should also remember those across the Muslim world who are going through difficult times and pray for their relief and peace.<\/p>\n

She emphasized that Eid prayers should include supplications for the people of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the entire Muslim Ummah, especially those suffering due to conflict and ongoing hardships.<\/p>\n

Expressing regret, she said that during a gathering she attended, prayers were not offered for Palestine, Lebanon or Iran, stressing that such occasions should reflect unity and collective concern for the oppressed.<\/p>\n

Mehbooba Mufti also appealed to people to extend help and support to those in need, saying that Eid is a time to demonstrate unity, compassion and solidarity with suffering communities across the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
