He reportedly collapsed in the swimming pool following a severe cardiac episode.<\/p>\n<p>Lieutenant Amit Singh, commissioned into the Madras Regiment and a graduate of the 145th course at the National Defence Academy (NDA), passed away while undergoing commando training at the Commando School in Belagavi (formerly Belgaum).<br \/>\nInitial social media reports indicate that the incident occurred at the Commando Wing premises in Nanawadi, Belagavi, where he suffered a sudden discomfort while swimming in the facility\u2019s pool.
