Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep grief over the demise of Ghulam Mustafa Asmi, former Chief Engineer, a resident of Qamarwari. He had close relations with the Mirwaiz family.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Srinagar, the Mirwaiz remembered Asmi as a dignified and upright individual, saying he earned respect for his professional integrity and personal conduct.<\/p>\n

“His passing is a personal loss,” the Mirwaiz said, recalling the longstanding bond between the two families.<\/p>\n

The funeral of the deceased was led by the Mirwaiz at Anjum Masjid Qamarwari, where a large number of relatives and friends participated.<\/p>\n

The Mirwaiz prayed for the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, especially his sons Tahir Asmi, Mukeem Asmi, Rafi Asmi, and Nissar Asmi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
